My mom

Passed away this afternoon. I'm really going to miss her. I wish my kids would have had a chance to know her better and her them.

It turns out she had advanced stage 4 lung cancer. She wasn't one to complain so who knows how much pain she was in and how long the pain was there. She isn't in pain any more. Now she's with all the people she loved that went ahead of her.

I'm glad she didn't suffer. I'm glad she went peacefully the way she would have wanted. I'm glad I was her daughter and she was my mom. I hope I can instill much of her in my own daughter.

I will really miss her but I'm happy for where she is because I know it's somewhere great.
